Marina was born in Ekaterinburg, Russia, at the height of the Cold War period. At the time, Ekaterinburg, the strategically important technological and industrial center of Russia, was closed to foreign visitors and businesses. When Marina was nearing her graduation from Ekaterinburg Pedagogical University, Perestroika changes started taking affect, and the first American businesses came to the area. Inspired by the changes and the new possibilities, Marina became interested in international business. For years she provided business consulting to companies in US, Europe and Russia. After receiving her MBA from Fordham University of New York, Marina continued to advance her career over the next seven years at American Express.

Raised within the conceptual confines of atheistic ideology, Marina always felt its reductionist nature. Searching for answers, she became an eager student of the old schools of thought, including Theosophy, Zen, Tao, Platonic and Western philosophical teachings. But it wasn’t until her own powerful awakening that her life priorities and vision changed dramatically.

Marina recently transitioned from the corporate world to permit more time and opportunities for her spiritual pursuits. Her goal now is to help others to have personal experiences that will affect their lives in the same meaningful and profound manner.
