The Journeys Out of the Body home training course is based on the legendary work of OBE researcher and explorer, Robert Monroe. The course was developed and produced by Bob Felix, for whom Monroe was a mentor, friend and colleague. Advanced Audio Guidance Technology

This CD series incorporates patented audio guidance technology (Hemi-Sync®) in which complex, multi-layered audio signals are blended to create resonance that is reflected in unique brain-wave patterns. These patterns are characteristic of specific states of consciousness. The result is a focused, whole-brain state known as hemispheric synchronization, where the right and left hemispheres of the brain are balanced in a state of harmony and coherence. This is similar to the difference between diffused light produced by ordinary light bulbs and the coherent, focused light produced by lasers. 

The technology makes it possible to quickly and easily experience deep meditative states of consciousness. This avoids the need to spend years of dedicated practice learning how to achieve altered states of consciousness, as is the norm with other traditional approaches.

Overview of the Series

The first CD in the Journeys Out of Body series contains an introduction by Robert Monroe, where he discusses his OBE experiences and explorations. This is followed by five exercise CDs, each an hour in length. Each CD guides you to progressively deeper states of consciousness. Specifically formulated layers of sound are embedded in each exercise to facilitate Out-of-Body and Lucid Dreaming experiences. 

Relaxation

The ability to maintain a deeply relaxed state of mind and body is critical for achieving Out-Of-Body experience. The Relaxation Reinforcement CD uses audio frequencies that help induce a state of deep physical and mental relaxation. The verbal guidance on this CD will teach you how to achieve and maintain a deeply relaxed state. Use this exercise as often as needed to prepare for more advanced work in the series. Return to it any time you feel a need to reinforce your ability to relax deeply and completely.

Condition A

When you have learned to comfortably achieve and maintain a deeply relaxed state, the second CD, Condition A, will guide you into the borderland sleep state - that delicate liminal state of being that exists between wakefulness and sleep. The audio guidance signals in this exercise help you maintain this state of mental attention, and to develop a sense of stability and peacefulness in this altered state of consciousness.  

Condition B

Now that you have developed and demonstrated a growing strength of focus and conscious awareness, the Condition B exercise will guide you to the next step - holding you steady in the borderland sleep state without the mental aid of focusing on a single thought-object. In this state you will experience a sense of freedom from your everyday concerns and anxieties - to just be peacefully present within yourself.

Condition C

The Condition C exercise leads you through the systematic deepening of the borderland state, guiding your fully conscious mind across and beyond the sleep threshold. These audio guidance signals will help you to let go of your rigid hold on the borderland sleep edge state, progressively deepening your level of consciousness.

Condition D

The Condition D exercise puts all you have learned into a single exercise, with the most powerful audio guidance signals in the series. With this exercise you will achieve a profound state of consciousness from which you can transcend your ordinary sense of reality. The deepest explorations into self and universe become possible here. You have no limits!
